Orderry App on iOS: Adding and Editing Services and Products

It's the turn of the Orderry App update on iOS! So iPhone users also can now:

  • adding services, works, and products to the work orders
  • editing items that have already been added to the work orders

This makes the app more helpful for field workers, and soon Orderry App will be a complete tool for work order processing. Let's take a closer look at new features.

Adding Services and Works

Open a work order at the Order details tab and press the Add service/work button. Here you can choose an item from the list, search, or scan the barcode.

You change the quantity of the service/work using the +/- buttons or just type in the needed quantity. Also, you can edit all details: unit price, cost, discount, warranty, specialist, and comment.

If you search the name or barcode of a service that doesn't exist in Orderry, you can still add such an item and save it to the price list, just like in the web version.

Adding Products and Materials

Press the Write off from the warehouse button and choose a warehouse.

Here you also have three options on how to find the product:

  • add it from the available list of products
  • use the search by name, code, SKU, serial number
  • scan the barcode of the product

After that, possible options depend on whether or not the product is serialized or bin location is enabled:

  1. For the serialized product, you can scan the barcode of the serial number or choose the needed serial numbers manually.
  2. For the non-serialized product with enabled bin locations, you have to specify the quantity for every bin from which you want to write off the product.
  3. For the non-serialized product with disabled bin locations, it's enough to specify the quantity.

You can add all needed items to write them off in bulk. Note, if you've selected some products from one warehouse, you can't switch to another one until you write off or clear the list of selected items.

If you search for a product that does not exist in stock, you can still add it, just like in the web version. But remember, if you don't post a product to a warehouse, you won't see it in reports and can't track its movement history.

Editing Services and Works

Tap on service/work to edit it. Here you can change almost all data: unit price, cost, discount, client warranty, specialist, quantity, and comment. For example, tap on quantity and enter the needed one.

Don’t forget to save changes and then the work order.

Editing Products and Materials

Product editing is very similar to editing services. Here you also can change unit price, cost, discount, client warranty, specialist, and comment.

But if you want to change item quantity, you have to delete it from the work order first and then add it again in the needed quantity.

What’s next?

That's all the new features for today. Next, you'll get to work with cashboxes and payments in the app. It means that you'll be able to close work orders and accept payments for them. And if you haven’t installed it yet, you can find a link to the App Store here.
